minds mid life... sorry to hear you're going through it bro- especially if they have a traumatic experience like losing a parent or losing a long held job/career... they're usually running from something or trying to escape confronting an emotion/situation- sometimes they're trying to "overcome" some regret that they have while targeting the wrong "enemy"... but keep your head up. You seem like someone who will make the best of life, one way or the other.
Hopefully she snaps back to reality before it's too late... If not, don't let it keep you from enjoying the precious little time we have here.
