and who CAN you hire? Little fan support and subpar basketball facilities. There are not many coaches who WANT the Clemson basketball job. Promising coaches come to Clemson and bury their careers. Let's face it basketball is corrupt and until you are willing to pay players 10's of thousands of dollars to come here you will never have the players to compete in the ACC.
AAU basketball players are paid generously, so why come to Clemson and play for free and have to keep up an academic standard. Other top basketball schools are openly paying their player to come for one year.
So who are you going to hire?

But Rick only used Clemson as a stepping stone. Who is going to come to Clemson and stay, and do well? I don't see it happening.
