It's not funny at all. Hopefully he just had some drinks or something and is underage. He seems like a good person. Jesus got arrested for goodness sakes. We don't know what happened and believe me we have ZERO room to talk. Just sayin.

Ok so it's simple possession of weed and some pills. The weed I can understand (he's a college student), but the pills could be more serious. Not a funny matter at all and I'm not one to point fingers at rivals for drug abuse issues.

I am a lifelong coot and former prosecutor for 15 years. This is clearly a PTI offense that Sammy should be afforded. Any other Carolina or Clemson student would be allowed to go through the program and have a chance to have their record expunged. As for what Coach Sweeney does in terms of suspension, it is clearly his call.
I believe you have enough talent to beat Auburn without Sammy.

Got an email blast about it from CUPD. Sammy and a freshman on the soccer team were arrested. Pills around exam time lead me to adderall. Most people don't want to admit it but it is very commonplace around campuses this time of year.

Hopefully the punishment isn't too severe, would be a shame for that much talent to go waste, even if he is wearing orange.

He will sit at least one or two games, as he should. If they give him special treatment because of who he is then that lowers Clemson to the level of the other scummy programs that sweep stuff under the rug on a daily basis (Ohio State and Florida) This is about more than just football, you can't just look the other way because he is one of the best underclassmen receivers in the country, if a walk on would get suspended a couple games Sammy has to be suspended a couple games. But he will learn his lesson, nonetheless.
