FSU won a national Championship 6 years ago

Aug 31, 2019, 6:21 PM

With a spectacular roster of NFL talent. Today they lost with an Illegal formation on fourth down at home with the game on the line? Has anyone ever seen that?

Prior to that an obvious holding call.

Willie Taggert is a beloved figure in Sarasota/ Manatee from high school to initial coaching success. Switching coaching jobs year after year must have left him exposed. For sure there are some roster issues and pre-existing culture issues at FSU, but Willie and his staff do not seem to have the high level coaching talent and program administration that is needed at the highest levels of college football.

I still think FSU wins close to 10 games this season! Your comments disregard a bunch of facts W. Taggert had to deal with in taking over the dumpster fire Jimbo Fisher left.
Besides that - Boise St. is not push over and is routinely ranked. The book on whether or not this years Criminoles will be good or not has not been written yet. Not after 1 game.

They at least have an offense. We don't know how good Boise will be yet or how bad FSU will be. Boise St. might end up going undefeated and this game the closest they came to losing!

Pre-existing problems acknowledged. Jimbo left that program about three months before he really left it and he left with Malice.

There is a state full of people down here that think they win 10 or more this year.

Still there are organizational and fundamental coaching issues there there that are hard to watch.
