All the more reason to attend this big game and support the Tigers. TV is great but being in the Valley on Saturday afternoons is heavenly! Go. Tigers.

Someone mentioned/posted earlier today regarding a Fall "break" this early in October... the only "Fall Break" I recall having was Thanksgiving weekend, when the following Monday I had term papers due, structural analysis reports, and a design project due the next Thursday (Architecture.) Oh, and end of term exams started the next week after. I enjoyed my turkey with a note pad and an open book sitting next to me at the table. Football was simply in the background... but, I never missed following the game with USuC. My, how times have changed....

I remember playing Nc State during a Fall break in 1987. Terrible loss that was.

That was one of those three years in a row (I forget the annual sequence) when were rated, even undefeated, maybe 5-0, or 6=0, and the unrated Wolf Peckers came out of nowhere and kicked our azzz. Three years in a row.... Really? A '###### friend of mine (a really good guy) gave me hell then, and still tries to bring it up, but he doesn't have much to stand on, except a "woulda -coulda -shoulda" lately.

I don't see the big deal. In the mid to late 70's, we would have gone to the game and headed home Sunday. Back then we students had our priorities straight.
