I’m amazed by the speed with which they accept a boldfaced lie.
ie. “elite recruiting”, “elite QB”, “elite Coaching”. None of those things has ever existed there, yet you can read page after page of posts referring to it as if it’s real. They talk about teams with records similar to their own as trash. They talk about teams with records slightly better than theirs as weak or mediocre. They talk about teams that regularly stomp a hole in their team as natural rivals. I know of no other college football fan base that has such an overtly fake narrative as to their position in the college football world. It is truly amazing. It’s like earthworms seeking out apex predators to talk trash too.
