That play call was irrelevant. Center has got to get the ball to the QB. No sense in picking on this call when:
1. Cole missed an open TD pass.
2. Lakip missed 2 FGs and gave us no choice but to go for it on 4 and 1 in OT.
3. Fumbled the ball inside the red zone with 1:30 to play.
We outplayed the #1 team in the Nation. Just made too many mistakes.

I can only imagine how frustrated Venables is after that game. Defense has nothing to be ashamed of. Best I've seen in a long time. Offense execution and play calling...Not so much!

I think that we are doing way to much QB running. Teams have really gotten use to us doing that. They got use to us doing that last year, and the only reason it worked more times than not was b/c Tajh really had the size along with RB abilities. If not for that, Tajh would have been shut down with that same tired A$S play as we were being shut down with it last night. Scap most of those plays and give defenses something else to stop b/c they have that play down Pat, and will stop it 85% of the time. Its a wasted play, scrap it!!!

Mike ocain, billy Napier, rob spence? Have some perspective. Best OC we've had since rich Rodriguez. We ain't even in that game or even have deshaun Watson at qb without CM. don't be stupid bc we don't convert on a 4th or have a kid in shotgun. You want dabo calling the plays? cM is a very capable OC. We r lucky to have him.
