I do not understand. Beasley is 15 pounds lighter, but almost doubled the weight lift, is faster, has better vertical, and gets the old "not as versatile".
Then he gets the not the competition. Beasley played UGA, FSU and South Carolina - what's different on the upper end?

Yeah he dominated a playoff team and did well against UGA. What team did Dante Fowler play that was so elite?

I think that we can all agree that Vic will do well as long as he stays focused.....and in my mind, there is no doubt that he will. Vic will be the better player and better leader.

The actual team scouts know the difference.

Vic faced Oklahoma too! Senior led Oline with draft prospect

And he dominated the Oline for Oklahoma! Vick didn't do it just against Acc but also against Ohio State and Sec powerhouses! Anybody can admit he physically is different and very qiuick! Don't be surprised if he is a top 15 pick! NFL craves these kind of freakish athletes because they find ways to make plays

Here's the thing:

the later he gets picked (assuming it's still 1st round), the better the team he joins. No matter what, it'll work out for Vic. He's a very determined and focused person

I don't see any scenario where Beasly falls beyond 8.

If he's still on the board, He will be taken by the Falcons.
In regard to the hand technique I said this 2 years ago. Beasley never picked up bad habits because he learned the position on the college level. This was my knock on Clowney. He is/was a one trick pony. A poorly executed swim and speed is all he's ever had. To this point it worked but the league is a whole different animal. My Sakerlina loving brother was singing Clowneys praises a couple years back. I told him if you want to see what a DE with great technique looks like watch Beasley. He has a very good tool kit. His hand fighting is awesome, good swim, great spin, ery good rip and has the pure speed to get around or inside the OT. His strength at his weight is insane and he comes off the ball as quick as anyone on the college or pro level.
One other thing is his length. I can't tell you how many times I've seen him get to a RB or QB when I thought they would get away but he closed faster than the other guy and ended up using his 12 ft arms to somehow make the play. With his freakish athleticism, coverage ability, power, speed, versatility , he's going to have a very good career. I think he will be Def rookie of the year.
Also...does anyone know why he wears the compression sleeve? I remember D.Bowers wearing one I think Gaines did. Goodman and Crawford I think as well
