Did you not find it somewhat odd he played with his gum while coached?
We all have our habits, just thought that was odd for a high rising commodity like CCM. Maybe he'll get a side deal with Wrigleys vs Nike at SMU.

I trust Dabo. He keeps making decisions that leave me scratching my head, but they keep working. I have a feeling this decision has to do with the perfect combination of his Clemson ties, proven product, and recruiting ties to the last bit of the South we have not readily explored. I will trust ole Dabo.

So this cat was only from Clemson a season? Okay cool.
By the way, UAB was associated with the University of Alabama system. Football team has had really bad seasons to pretty good seasons. My understanding is that Tuscaloosa started getting worried that their teams began getting better. So they kept finding ways to sabotage it to a point of discontinuing it. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. At any rate, we shall see. Welcome coach Cameron!

I don't think this is a risky hire. It is a graduate assistant. They are not paid $100s of thousands to coach.
