Rivers #5 - Boyd #19. Why such a large gap between the two?

Mar 19, 2014, 11:24 AM

Seeing as how Boyd broke all of Rivers records. What did Rivers do that was so great since they seem to be using his records (broken) as justification. I guess he still owns the ACC record for number of kids.

Also, I'd say it's a little early to be ranking Famous Jameis that high. One season doesn't equal a career. Those are some pretty lofty expectations to fulfill/live up to.

Boyd should be higher than Rivers

His stats are better, and his teams were better. But I'm guessing Rivers gets a bump because of his success in the NFL.

As for Winston- he won the Heisman. Even if he's only played one year, that has to count for something.

The one guy nobody's talking about is Bowers. He should be higher on that list with the numbers he had as a senior, which were better than all of the other DEs' single season numbers on the list. That's another one where I think what he's done (or not done) in the NFL is coloring their judgment.

Gaines Adams. Sorry but Gaines was a better player than Da'Quan.

I got a rather good laugh from that list.

Julius Peppers #1? Over Calvin Johnson? And Chris Weinke is #3...

Absolutely terrible list. No way CJ is lower than five. No Leroy Hill or Tye Hill. And what about Woody Dantzler? He set all kinds of records before he left Clemson.
