Fields has got a kind of edge to him that I like. He's aggressive and I think he's hiding a real nasty streak inside. He's going to continue to grow and be one of the great Tiger DB's. Bet on it.

They can pronounce tater pretty good also. But if I had to bag up as many French Fries everyday as they do, Tater would be a word that I could speak very clear.

I wish these guys would stop bating the players by asking leading questions, trying to get them to say something controversial. They really irritated me with the question about whether or not he believes the coaches play the payers who practice the hardest or if there is a pecking order. What did they expect him to say? "Yeah, there's a pecking order and it doesn't really matter how hard we practice or who is the best player." Good grief!

You're absolutely right, and it burns or chaps my A$S when I hear those media guys try to bait our players into saying things the way they want their questions answered. That alone irritates me to no ends!!!

If you watch the replay, I think he was reading what BC was going to run. He was checking the guy in motion, looked back to see that he was covered and was ready to break on the ball. On a night of great scores, that was my favorite.

I haven't seen that much of Fields but he seems to always want to jump the route. This is my guess why he hasn't gotten more play time. He has elite speed and thinks he can rely on that alone. I want Fields to take over as the shut down corner but he is not there yet. He needs to learn to tackle and learn to play within the defense.
