If you wanna see where we wanna be...

Just look at Ohio St putting 5 in the first round. So half of what we put in the entire draft went in round 1. We are moving towards an elite program, but still have room to climb. I believe Dabo has us in the 2-3 1st rounders every year group within the next couple of years.

elite program. Alabama had one first round pick this year.

Ole Miss had three, but one of their draftees managed to spill the beans on coaches payments to players. Not a big shock to anyone as Ole Miss has always been as crooked as you can get.

Elite programs have a least one first rounder a year, maybe two. Take a look at first round choices from year to year. There are always a fair number of players from smaller schools in those top 32 picks. To expect more than two on average per year from an "elite" school is just not reasonable.

Next year, due to the number of star players we will have eligible for the draft, we will likely have at two to three, coming from the pool of Watson, Gallman, M. Williams, J. Leggett, A. Scott, and Tankersley.

We could have close to 5 next year which would be amazing for the program. I could imagine Watson, Williams, Tankersley, Leggett, and Gallman going rounds 1 or 2. I figure O/U 2.5 or 3 from that list going round 1, but all possibilities.

Watson is self explanatory. Williams is in the mold of a #1 WR in the league and just needs to prove he's healthy. Tankersley has the production and size. Leggett has the size and offensive production ability which is big in the league now at TE. Gallman has worked hard to prove he is a legit, but next year is going to be insane for RB's.

I could see a couple others guys getting some early looks like Carlos Watkins.

Sorry "that dive of a hooters" is what I intended to type.
