Well, as I recall......


1. Watson never took snaps under center and so would have trouble mastering that aspect of the game.
2. Watson came from a RPO system and he usually only looked at half the field. He was sure to have
trouble with progressions across the whole field.
3. Watson had mediocre arm strength.
4. Watson was identified by McShay and Kiper has not being an accurate with the long ball.
5. Watson's stats were padded by an offense designed to win him the Heisman Trophy.
6. Watson was prone to interceptions.
7. Kiper was and remains confident his second round rating for Watson was accurate.
8. McShay and Kiper had a meeting and, well, they just decided.
