I'm rooting for Martavis, but after missing 4 games or whatever this year Ben should not have to light a fire under Martavis to get him in gear.

i don't think it's lighting a fire

as much as it probably is letting Tay know that he has got to sacrifice his body for the greater good. i watched the game Sunday, and Tay was looking for the DB's coming at him as much as he was looking for the ball... a receiver that hears footsteps or chokes up his arms is a QB's biggest frustration, especially for a guy like Ben who stands up to the hits himself...

Ben might want to throw the ball where he can catch it .,

Ben has got a number of recivers hurt over the years ,. ask Hines Ward

any pass thrown over the middle is an opportunity for a receiver or back to get hurt, especially if a receiver or back doesn't keep the timing of the route because he is already thinking about taking a big hit. being on time on the route is the safest way to avoid the big hit unless the defender has read the route perfectly...

Ben stands up except to the little women he assaults.
Remember not being convicted does not equal actually not doing the crime.
Says OJ and many many others who have walked.

what does a conviction or acquittal for Ben, OJ, Darren Wilson, George Zimmerman or The Boston Strangler have to do with the game on Saturday and Tay catching the balls thrown to him?
