Due to low ticket sales the ACC Championship game has been moved back to Charlotte for the December 3 showdown between Clemson and Virginia Tech, the conference announced Wednesday. The league has been monitoring ticket sales in the recent days and have observed tickets selling for as low as $11. John Swofford, the ACC Commissioner, released a statement Wednesday morning, "We realized this week that due to the inability to sell tickets to fans of two teams that are 8+ hours away from the stadium we are going end up losing money on even having this matchup. By moving the game back to Charlotte we may be able to make up the loss in ticket sales. We have struck a deal with the City of Charlotte to allow everyone to use the bathroom of their choice during the football game". This should come at no surprise to fans of both teams now that airfare into Orlando costs 4000% more than the cost of a ticket to the game.
