Mel Kiper just announced he has Connor Shaw at 4th in the Heisman Race right now!
IF...and it's a big IF...Connor Shaw gets an invite to NY for the Heisman Presentation, when CJ Spiller did not, it will prove just how much favoritism ESPN has toward the SEC.
Connor Shaw wouldn't start at 40 schools in the FBS.....Spiller's jersey would be retired at every FBS School!

If that happened, they would lose all credibility. So are they going to throw Clowney in there two? Heck, why not throw Devin and Latti in there...ridiculous. Of all players on Usuc's team, the only one that may deserve a little hype would be Clowney, but Conner...give me a break.

I think Its Lattimore, he means more to that team than any other individual, including Shaw

Meh disagree, they only lost 1 game last year when Lattimore went down and Lattimore isn't the reason they've been winning games this year.
they've been winning this year due to a bada@@ D-Line more than anything.

Shaw would look terrible, teams are constantly putting 8 in the box, and Lattimore is leading team in receptions with those little 4 yard throws underneath.

Connor Shaw is a great college quarterback. He can run better than he can throw but he just grinds out there. He gets the job done and it isn't always pretty. That being said he isn't a Heisman contender. He isn't the best player in college football but he's the glue that holds SCar together and the gears that keep their offense going, I'm not going to go as far as calling him a bad player like some because what is he now like 14-1 as a starter or something? That's impressive. I just don't see if anyone can catch Geno Smith right now.
