Media spin based on saturdays outcome...

Oct 17, 2018, 11:17 AM

Out Come Scenario 1: Clemson Wins by 3+ scores
Media Spin: The ACC is having a down year when their second best team is destroyed by a soft Clemson Team. In other news Ohio State and Notre Dame showed they can win a close game by taking Pitt and Minnesota to the wire, they are the best bet to keep Alabama under 50 when the playoff roles around.

Out Come Scenario 2: Clemson wins by 10 or less
Media Spin: Something is wrong in Clemson, Trevor Lawrence is not ready to be a big time QB and the ACC is just a weak conference that should be left out of the playoff. Michigan's loss to Michigan state shows just how deep and strong the b10 is and a two loss michigan has a better chance of getting in than an undefeated Clemson

Out Come Scenario 3: Clemson wins by 50 +
Media Spin: Still talking about the great wins ND and OSU had going into bye weeks, ACC is weak.

I can't wait until our boys run through the rest of the schedule and go 15-0 for Number 3 and leave the Media with nothing to talk about but the NBA.

the wuffies as a dark horse for the CFP if they beat us bc it's been close the last 2 years. But if we beat them Saturday they will be just another weak team from the weak ACC who hasn't played anyone all season.

A lot of talk out there about our D-line not being as impressive as they were hyped up to be, but they fail to recognize that half of our games have been against option teams. They're not gonna get those impressive numbers against run up the middle, option left, option right, etc.

I'd like to know how many other teams have played every available player on the bench, for a road game, TWICE, regardless of the opponent. I think starting this Saturday we'll begin to see what we are capable of for the stretch run. Weak Florist was just a preview. There will undoubtedly be more weekends like this past weekend and hopefully we will not be any part of it.

I love how when a good SEC beats another good team its due to a strong conference. When it happens in the ACC its due to being in a weak conference.
