Zion would obviously be a huge get for CBB, but what worries

me is if he turns pro early. That would take CBB by complete surprise and it will send our program into a tailspin for several years. The other concern is if he elevates his game while at Clemson since we all know that can destroy a team.

They are clearly expecting Zion to go pro after one year. They know he's a one-and-done. Everyone knows that. The surprise would be if he stays for a second year, for which they would create a spot for him. Clemson is already heavily recruiting similar positioned players to replace Zion in the 2019 class. It won't affect the program negatively at all to get him.

Forget Zion. He'd be a cancer to the team and future recruits.
I think I'm getting the hang of this.

coachmac would disagree with you. I'll let that basketball genius fill you in on the dangers of having a really good player on a basketball team. Let's just say his explanation will be very eye opening for you and will forever change the way you think about the sport.

I wish I could post the McEnroe clip. You nor anyone should have a sliver of hesitancy in signing Zion. Come on man, where’s your basketball sense?

What CBB has done is nothing short of amazing. He has overcome KJ leaving early, AND playing virtually an entire season on the road.
Despite these roadblocks, he has us poised to make the Big Dance this year. That is a remarkable coaching job.
Despite roadblock after roadblock, CBB has proven to be ultra-succesfull at overcoming the odds.

talent who will likely be one and done. If CBB keeps some good talent around him, the sky is the limit for this team next year. Of course, they have to get hot as a team at the right time and CBB has to be really smart with his rotations and putting him in a position to succeed.
I believe the criticisms of Milton Jennings were really unfair. He committed to a different system and ended up being a square peg/round hole situation. But Zion is different, he's not an all-American like Milton was, he is THE all-American. If he commits and stays healthy, there's no reason why we can't make the Final Four next year.
