RB for the year. I hate it for those two young men. Paul, on the other hand...well, I assume he is going to come out today and say those SEC practices are just too physical...

Maybe we should cut the wamers some slack, after all everybody knows they’re off season is brutal it’s the closest thing they will have to a competitive game until the playoffs.

I agree, a coach shouldn't play guys who are just too tired.

They're transferring to the ACC, where it's less competition (Belk comes to mind)

Losing the true freshman RB likely isn’t a big deal

Might hurt their 4th string RB depth but Harris is very good and will be a bellcow guy. The LB going down is a big injury. Haven’t been able to keep that position healthy the last few years and a severe lack of depth especially for Bama.

good, healthy LBs.
Then again they won the title two years ago with a MASH unit at that position for most of the year. Unfortunately for us i think a lot of those guys were finally back healthy by the time we played them in the Sugar Bowl.

By the time we play them every year, they’re normally the healthiest they’ve been the whole season.

Reminds of this very bizarre stat

None of Clemson's 4 semi-final opponents have played in a conference championship game. The Big XII did not have a conference championship game in 2015, Ohio State and Alabama didn't win their divisions in 2016 and 2017, and Notre Dame was obviously independent last year. We've played one additional game and had 1 less week of rest prior to the semi-final than all 4 of our opponents.
Furthermore, those are the only 4 teams out of 20 to make the playoff that have played just 12 games in a season and we've drawn all 4 of them. I don't think it's a conspiracy or anything because i haven't really had any qualms with the seeding outside of maybe 2015 where Michigan State maybe the better "resume" if you ignore game scores, but i don't think anyone in America thought they were actually better than OU.
Anyway, we've still beaten the snot out of all of them except Alabama so I'm not sure it really matters much, but it's still odd.

Wasn't the guy they dismissed from the team a 5* LB as well?

My dad always taught me never to ridicule someone's mistakes or misfortune, or laugh at their mistakes or misfortune.
That being said, I'm sure he did not include the coots though. Okay, maybe he did. This is why I make so many mistakes and have so much misfortune. Dad said it would happen.
