LOL! I smell what you're cooking! The CFPC might "knock Clemson similar to the AP poll is what you're thinking"! Hey, it really doesn't matter what they say, do, think if Clemson wins out.

If by some chance Clemson wins out and does not get in - "end the season right now and start voting on champions again"! Don't allow Clemson to lay the smack down on what could have easily have been 35 points against the so called greatest team in college football history! If by some chance those criteria are met and the Tigers are shunned b/c of a perceived lack of competition - it would change college football forever! Because you have no control of your conference opponents perceived strength. None.
You schedule your OOC games years in advance so that P5 team can schedule their conference games accordingly. So who knows if Oklahoma in a few years will still be good. What if Lincoln Riley jumps ship to the NFL and the Sooners still have that booty defense and about as much imagination on offense as Florida! Clemson would have tried and that's all you can do. Speaking of Florida they have Two FCS teams on their schedule - Towson and UT Martin - yet they get a bunch of love for a two loss team!
Double Standard - is why the perceived lack of strength exist.
