Was that a fumble? Nah not on the..
No way really? They will overtu... crap it was a fumble.
Okay our crowd is loud and our Defense will show Jami...
Wow did he get a foot down? nah he was out of bou... crap that is a touchdown.
( I could go on but, aside from some possible cursing in there, does this pretty much cover it?)

As my Dad used to say, "That was the ole triple F play. Fart, fumble and fall."
I knew it was a bad start. The thing I couldn't believe was how many GREAT catches their receivers made. Man they made some plays that made the QB look good. There were about 5 catched that not many receivers would have made - really good team that just got on a roll on us. Gotta give them credit. They brought it and we didn't.
But we're good and will be rolling again starting Saturday!

It would have been too unrealistic if I first heard it.
Its was like West Virginia and Alabama combined.
I don't want to believe FSU is back. If they do this
for the next 8yrs.....then they are.
Still have faith in Clemson to get this right.

that was the worst possible start to the game. Like, literally, there was not a conceivable worse start possible. Gave them confidence, took the edge out of the crowd, spotted them 7 points and wasted a possession. Shakespeare couldn't have written a more tragic start.
I was trying really hard to distinguish my extreme pessimism from the countless other, yet less intense bouts of early game pessimism I had experienced. Even down 17-0 I still had a glimmer of hope. But when we got the ball back on their side of the 50 and couldn't score twice, I KNEW the game was over.
They were a much better football team than we were. No way around that. Better coached.

Round one is underway. Glancing blow on the chin 7 secs in. Knee must have wobbled because Tyson took notice...I couldn't see due to the stars. They say that was the story of the entire bout. I was out of it so have to take their word. Who is this Tyson kid and why were we not forewarned? Destined to be one of the best world champions we've ever witnessed.
