Etienne deserves more carries

Nov 12, 2017, 10:37 PM

14 carries for 97 yards yesterday. He needs around 20. He's going to pop some big ones if you give it to him enough

How's his blocking?***

He got the carries yesterday because Feaster didn't hit the hole like he does against a fast D. I like letting all of our backs get the ball. They all bring something different to the game. It keeps him fresh as well. 12-15 carries a game would be good with me. Whoever has the hot hand is who we go with.

Feaster - power
Fuller - speed
Choice - strength
Etienne - explosive

Have we EVER had a more talented and diverse stable of runningbacks? Each one of these guys could start at pretty much any other program and each one is elite in a completely different way.

With our struggles on offense we could use our most explosive running back to give us the best chance to win. He's had plenty of practice on pass blocking.

I'd rather him not be worn down by his senior season***

I love seeing him gash defenses in the 2nd half when they are tired. I'm fine with Feaster and Choice wearing down a defense early. In crucial moments in games, I woiuldnt mind a ETN handoff.

NOT going to happen.....

win, lose or draw, the coaching staff has already made the decision to run KB. There is only one ball and as a result, that means less carries for TF and ETN. I know the running game has been pretty effective but I'm not a fan of QB draws (we're over using it) and the read option. I'd like to see TF and ETN be allowed to pound the DL until it was worn out.

In the coming games against USuCk and Miami, I expect to see 8 men in the box and KB be forced to throw it (which is a big concern).....the RBs are going to be blockers.

You do realize KB is completing 65.3% of his passes right? Just want to make sure because you seem to think we have a QB with no arms.

duh, he has to have arms...he wouldn't be able hold the ball

during his runs without them...
