Someone needs to have a talk with some of those trustees. AOL email address... really? Bellsouth isn't much better.

You could also e-mail the same people to say you want to stay in the ACC.

I emailed them and let them know of my desire to leave the ACC. I implore everyone to make their opinions known. As we all recall, it was the collective voices of the Missouri & TAMU fanbases that resulted in their respective administrations to seek a change in conference affiliation.
Go Tigers!

My email, plus added office of GOV and LT.GOV.
============================== I am writing to ask one simple question. Is the leadership of Clemson University and the State of South Carolina going to let Clemson University slide into a state of mediocrity with the Atlanta Coast Conference (ACC)?
IF, and of course this is a big if, the landscape of collegiate athletic and academic alignment changes as drastically as it appears will happen, what happens when Clemson University is stranded in the drastically depleted Atlanta Coast Conference (ACC)?
If Clemson University were to move, where do they land? Everyone is hearing that the "University of South Carolina will blackball Clemson University" for admission into the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Then that leaves the "Big XII", a Texas and Mississippi river basin collection that will incur heavy travel expenses for Clemson as well as lack of regional commonality.
I challenge the Clemson University and the State of South Carolina leadership! Do you want one of your two major universities to fall into mediocrity? I would venture "NO"! Take a page from history, and play the "Virginia" card with the SEC. If the University of South Carolina is to support any future growth for the SEC, adding Clemson University is a requirement for that support. Additionally, if the State of South Carolina leadership discussed this strategy with the State of Georgia (for Georgia Tech) and State of Florida (for Florida State University), a voting block to save these fine institutions could have some influence.
Regards

Please understand that the majority of Clemson alum, alum family, and friends love everything about Clemson.
Education Family Atmosphere Athletics Campus
We are praying that our leadership is working proactively to protect all three of these areas. There is zero conflict between putting Clemson in a position to compete with the best college football teams in the nation and striving to achieve a top 20 educational institution.
Please help pass on the desire of many , many orange blooded tigers, Move us to the Big 12! Please do not wait for even FSU. I was raised to believe, "A Clemson man needs no introduction" ,
and I believe that to still be the case. You can now show the way, much as Clemson leaders did when the decision was made to leave the Southern Conference.
When the chips start to fall, the fighting for position has the potential to get ugly.
Clemson should not risk being left behind. Thanks so much for your time, and Gooooo Tiggerrrrs!
