Sauce packets from restaurants

Nov 24, 2020, 1:32 PM

I have a tupperware full of sauce packets from various fast food and/or Door Dash orders in my fridge.

Want Hardee's BBQ sauce? Polynesian sauce from CFA? Sweet and sour from the chinese place? A single serving of sriracha? Honey mustard from Mickey D's? I've got it all.

Genius or UDP? I'll let you decide.

Or YouTube. Dude has a packet drawer and uses them in every recipe.

It’s thrifty. Here’s what I hoard...

Arby’s Horsey Sauce. Packets of malt vinegar. McD’s sweet and sour and buffalo. Chinese restaurant’s duck sauce, soy sauce, and hot mustard. Wife and kids got some Polynesian sauce from the fast food joint whose name I refuse to mention. I think we have a couple zesty sauces from Burger King. A couple Zax sauce. And various jelly packets from Hardee’s along with discolored packets of Texas Pete.

Problem is, if you don’t clean out your bin every once in a while, one will start to ooze and gum up the whole bunch. It can get gross quickly.

I'd have to dedicate an entire room to storage.

What is their deal anyways? I get like 20 packs of hot sauce for a 2-chalupa drive thru order.
