Probably would have been better if they weren't even in the supers.
The better teams always win in baseball, right?

Some of you are so desperate to hate the sec you make up complete garbage like this to do it.
I do think the acc was the better conference this year but the sec was also really really good. If you can't see that just because you want to hate them for being touted by espn, then you're blind.

Since there are so many SEC teams hosting, wonder why none are playing each other like Miami and Boston College had to ? Coincidence ?

they probably are not as good as the SEC fans think they are. Just like in football, you do not get a true evaluation of a teams strength when they are playing within their own league. I personally think that teams in the southwest and Pacific coast are better than they were given credit for this year. By the way, I don't hate anybody or any team....can't stand a few of them, but Hate...you are a little quick on using the "H" word!

But after Sunday the Coots will not be playing. Oh yea how's the football team coming. After getting beat by The Citadel in football if I were a Coot. I don't think I would show up on any other teams message board.

Football team sucks but appears to be heading in an exciting direction. Basketball team crapped the bed down the stretch, lost a bunch of players. Baseball has potential to do big things. Holbrook appears to be not that bad.
There ya go...
SEC baseball is good. I'm not sure why there would some SEC bias, where two losses means the conference is "showing its true colors".

"exciting direction" based on what?
Hiring a coach who failed at Florida and recruiting a bunch of mid major recruits?
What a delusional mouth breather.

You're right. Nothing to get excited about whatsoever. All the recruits are garbage. 6-6 forever.
My bad. I will toe the company line while here.
Coots suck!!!

LOL SC will be looking for another football coach in about 4 years. The baseball team is decent I will give you that but does anyone really care about baseball. I love baseball but it doesn't bother me too much when they lose.

The Coots are a pretty good baseball team...probably better
Jun 11, 2016, 11:56 AM

than the Tigers, basically due to excellent pitching and better defensively.....but we still won two of three. My main point is that there are a lot of other good baseball teams out there playing in pretty good conferences......and being sick of hearing all of the SEC hype (yes much is true) probably grates on a lot of sports fans nerves.

I can't stand anything about them. But as a general rule, the best team does not always win whether us out anyone else. I happen to think our basketball team was better than them, yet we lost. Do you want to argue that the best team always wins? Do you think our pictchers are better than theirs....like they wanted us to think Connor Mitch was better than Watson? Go ahead...I'm listening.

Right now I am comparing how we played Okie State versus how they are playing them. Their pitching and defense is keeping them in the game.....where neither our pitching or defense kept us in either game.
