1) How is the Sat. Night (ABC/ESECPN) game of the week
is ND vs SYRACUSE.
Surely there were better options....

2) How in the H**l does that living cesspool like columbia,sc get to host college gameday...

1) Notre Dame is featured because they are Notre Dame. They don't have to actually earn the prime time slot. It's kind of like how Notre Dame is constantly ranked in the top 25. I almost wonder if there is a standing order for Notre Dame to automatically be ranked until they lose their 6th game of the year. Even then, we still have to hear about them.

2) Similarly, South Carolina does not have to earn the college gameday selection. Being ranked #13 and hosting an unranked team isn't worthy, but USuC is in the SEC so they are given a pass. As usual, South Carolina rides the coattails of schools like Alabama, Auburn, and Texas A&M.
