ESPN3 and Chromecast

Anyone know how to stream ESPN3 to a tv using Chromecast and an iPad? I know you can use a computer with chrome as a browser, but not sure with an iPad.

if not, use WatchESPN to view game on iPad, then use component cable to connect iPad to TV.

I don't know for sure but I'm guessing google doesn't allow it with an iPad. If so you would be using the chrome browser on your ipad to stream it. The only way to do a direct steam from and ipad would be an Apple TV. The device that does the same thing for apple products but was released years before the chromecast.

Chromecast has an IOS app. It will work on several different apple apps.

However, doing espn3 - probably not. You would need to stream that from the browser itself as there is no espn3 supported chromecast app.
