northeastern and midwestern teams like Pitt or ND over schools from the South.
If I had a timephone where I could call 2000 Tigersense and tell him that in 2014/15 I'd be pulling against a team like LSU in favor of Notre Dame, or even Pitt over Houston, I'd have gotten cussed out by 2000 Me.
I blame ESPN.

They then spend another quarter fretting over the same...and at least one-half of the remaining quarter wishing they hadn't reminded themselves of the whole mess in the first place!

Tigersense, I have thought of posting almost the same sentiment except it only goes back about 3-4 years. I am 64 years old and have never pulled for northern/mid-western/left coast teams over southern teams, but once the CACKS began thinking of themselves as elite SEC and lived vicariously through the Bammas and LSUs, I say Go ND, OSU, Michigan State, et al....

I have gotten so sick of espn I would much rather watch cartoons with my son than listen to that mess. When I was a kid it was the greatest thing ever, but now it's sad to see what it has become.
