ESPN Ticker

Why does the ESPN ticker need to show Alabama unanimous #1 and then list out the remaining AP standing. We all know right now they are clearly the best team but it seems they go out of their way to make the story about how they are the best in history.

That is what they have always done. They have a crush on Bama and Ohio State and ND. On Saturdays, they always list Bama's score but not many of the other top 10 in their ticker on the bottom on the "LEAD" section.
