All recruits never pan out as advertised, and we know that. We know that winning will help solve the task of pulling in those top recruits. When a school gets their share of those Elite recruits, they will also have to have Elite coaches to coach them. Right now IMO, I believe we have better all around top to bottom better coaching than FSU. In the past 10 years we are 6/4 against FSU. In the past 10 years FSU hasn't beat us back to back games. So what is it that FSU is doing that has them out recruiting us the past several years with top 10 classes. I don't know what it is they're doing, but we must some how stay with them in recruiting. Or they will go back to owning the ACC again. Some will say they are cheating, if that is true, the NCAA is taking a blind eye to it.

what are your opinions on spurrier's recruiting? Hasn't he had 2 average classes in a row now and they obviously don't have any momentum going into this year's recruiting class either? Whats going on down there?

I don't pretend to know how these rankings work, but Southern Cal has a class ranked in the 40's on Rivals. What's up with that? They usually have top 5 classes.

no recruiting momentum??? Have you noticed the 2015 cycle?

Plus, despite what you may read here, SC will have a terrific 2014 class also. Altho it will be very small due to numbers. so obviously it won't "rate" highly.

But the SC coaches are loving their 2014 class.

It's easy to recruit at FSU because they get to recruit the state of Florida and don't have to go anywhere else. They will always be able to have good classes just by rolling out of bed......if the staff actually puts forth some effort they can have great classes.
