He’s got friends and family who are pumping him up and feeding into his emotions. Probably just regurgitating much of what has been told to him in an emotional state the past couple days.
I too wish he would have handled it a little different, but it’s in print now.

They are Kelly Bryant. Yes, he put in the time and effort, but sometimes you're just not as good as the next guy and you've got to deal with that. Him throwing Dabo and the coaching staff under the bus just put him on my permanent hate list. Not that I think anything will become of his career as a football player after this.

has done just being a well liked former Clemson quarterback. I don't know to what extent, but you know it's really helped his post collegiate career. And KB is from here, so it's kind of strange to see him make those comments which he knows will irk the fanbase.

but I have told every one of my former players who have played in college, the moment you step on campus, the coach is trying to out recruit you with a better player. It is on you to make the best of your opportunity.
It is sad to see that Bryant appears to think he was owed anything.

Obviously he worked hard to get that chance beating out a lot of guys. But still, ######## on your team mates, abandoning them saying, I got to do the best thing for me, stinks.
I understand, of course. He’s disappointed and hurt, but everyone knows it comes with the territory.
