Going toe to toe with Vandy so far . . . If you like college baseball, this one is brewing into a good one - so far3-2 Duke Top of 3 . . . Vandy's starter has thrown almost 50 pitches
After 2 1/5 innings . . . 6-2 Duke . . . Vandy starter still chunking . . . Has thrown ~65 pitches!!!

After 5 innings . . . 7-4 Duke for anyone that cares
Top of 8th . . . 11-5 Duke . . . Bases loaded . . . No outs . . . Duke is having a wicked inning!!!
Duke puts up 10 runs in the 8th . . . 18-5 Duke!!!!!!!
Michigan beats #1 UCLA . . . now Duke is cutting #2 Vandy . . . "Baseball IS a sometimes thing!"

Seems to be some excellent recruiting and development. We all saw the series in Tigertown. They continually protected the plate and intelligently went with the pitch thrown. Pitching threw strikes and attacked the batter. Let alone @Vandy, after what they did to us for 2 years - building to this team. Sheesh.
For the Tigers: definitely think Lee deserves 2 more years at least. Needs to add a hitting coach (I.e. like Dabo’s offensive micromanagement into C. Morris) and continue to recruit starting pitchers. The lack of the close out/strike-out pitch has been a question of mine since Crownover and Gilliam.

We’ve out recruiting them the last 3 years. We’re in the 11-15 range and Duke is 26-30 range.
As Skeeta says, baseball is a fun game from night to night. You just never know... but yes, Dukes gotten some excellent development obviously.

disadvantages we do in the tough ACC. Not to mention they don't get as many scholarships as Vandy.
