So many drunk University of South Carolina students are being transported to the emergency room during home football games that stretchers line the hallways of Palmetto Health Baptist

“They try to run away, fight people, pee in the corner,” said a nurse at Palmetto Health Baptist. “It’s been that way the whole time I’ve worked there.”

And those are their better students. Those will likely graduate and then get later DUIs/unemployment benefits.

The more average student will have their bail paid, appear on Lincoln street for their court date and then have the next few years at the Broad River Correctional Facility. Most of those in walking distance but I hear that the BRCF has a van....
