Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

I'm wondering if he will show

in Davis, Tisdale ansd McCamey. They will miss Meacham and Frazier but should still be a pretty solid team next year.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

They also have a pretty significant recruiting class...

Headlined by two 4 star guards in DJ Richardson (of RISE National Champion Findlay Prep) and Brandon Paul. Most Illini supporters were pointing to next season as the season for their rebound, the fact that it happened this year was in fact a surprise.

Illinois will more than likely be ranked by the time we play them.

The whole Findlay Prep thing is a complete scam.

Apr 22, 2009, 1:20 PM

Findlay Prep isn't even a real school. It's basically just a name that a group of high school age kids who attend different schools use so they can play basketball together. It's akin to recruiting for high school level athletics.

So he probably can play some pretty impressive hoops

As for Findlay Prep being a scam, it's just the next evolution of the Prep School model.

It is no more a scam than Laurinburg Prep, Oak Hill Academy, or South Kent. The only difference is that they outsource the academics (they attend regular classes at another, accredited, private high school).

Honestly, their model has a lot more merits than Pinewood Prep - which was using essentially a home schooling curriculum as the basis for their academics.

...to the best two conferences playing one another for some real excitement.

ACC vs Big East

10-0 is not a good matchup, and is about as bad as Clemson vs South Carolina in football, just not a rivalry/good competition.
