Remember what Nick Saban told the media last year. All this hype about how great they were was “poison.” Despite the warning, the Bama players drank it and got their butts whipped. This year it is even worse. Joe Burrow is “the most important player in LSU history“ and Clemson should have lost to Ohio State except for dishonest SEC refs. The Natty will be a scrimmage after playing in mighty SEC. Drink it, Joe.

That posit may have worked last year.
29-0 makes it a different animal.
In fact, after blowing out a very good Bama team last year, if anything, Clemson may be the overconfident team.

He is completely focussed. That guy is the real deal and humble. If we beat LSU it will be because we were just better on the day and not because they were caught up in the hype. We are just going to see which team is better. It's that simple.
