Wow! I know most of y'all know but just wow. Some turnovers helped our cause but offense was lights out. For those fed up with vanilla play calling look back at that last td pass to Scott in the first half. Beautiful play call. Deon Cain, 2 TDs. Leggett coming up huge. Best DW4 looked all year. Hoping cobwebs just got cleaned off the well oiled machine. (Watching replay.). Go Tigers!

Yep....scored 4 TDs in 8:00 minutes clock time, then 2 TDs in about 4 minutes clock time in 4th quarter. That's 6 TDs in 12 minutes. Pretty impressive. I was shocked when we took the KO with 37 seconds left in the half after Louisville made a FG and proceeded to go right down the field for another TD. Would have bet $100 that we were going to take a knee since we were getting the 3rd quarter KO. Glad CDS kept up the tempo!! Second quarter was a thing of beauty!!!

I was torn but certainly turned out to be the right call.

And obviously Louisville has an explosive offense. Needed all the points we could get.

It definitely surprised me that we didn't sit on it as well. I'm wondering if it caught UL off guard as well. ..... I wonder if the fact that we had been playing so conservative in the first 4 games created a situation where UL relaxed a bit.

Why do you think we picked 12 min quarters vs SCST?

I love vanilla TD drives that take less than 40 seconds. Cain's other catch on third down before leggitt scored was a thing of beauty by both DW4 and Cain. Hard to win time of possession with 70+ yard 30+ seconds drive. At least the complaints about special teams has died down.

I must admit sta is much better though. That return by Scott was a game changer.***

We had the ball 6 times in the 2nd quarter. We scored 4 TD's and turned the ball over 2 times. So as far the turnovers it was pretty even. One of our turnover was in the end zone. We were about to score. That would have put 35 in the second quarter. The other turnover they promptly turned it right back over to us. So I think we realistically should have been up by 25 points at halftime. The only thing that stopped our offense all night was ourselves. Go Tigers.

Had Quick scored at TD on that 4th down, I'm convinced

we would have at least been kicking a <45yd FG with a chance to win it-- 33 seconds with TOs was going to be plenty of time for DW to bring us back down. The drive probably would have started at least at our 35 because UL probably would have gotten a celebration penalty and had to kick from 20 like UGA did. Going into that play, I was more concerned that he would get the 1st down without scoring.
