When a recruiter stops asking you questions

Feb 25, 2020, 4:05 PM

and hasn't contacted you in 10 days....

Do you ask them if it's over?
Did you find someone new?
What's his name?
Did I do something wrong?

Stuff like that?

Don't worry, they will soon start calling back

asking you if you know anybody in the field you were trying to get out of.

I've had

Feb 25, 2020, 4:38 PM

better success finding a job I was interested in and having the headhunter do all of the legwork. Unless they have a client in your field that was looking to hire someone soon, they are doing the same thing you'd be doing looking at all of the sites.

Probably why you haven't heard anything from him or her.

I wouldn't find a new one just yet. Same resumes' from two/three different sources is not good.

If you have time, go through the job sites and find some possible hits you like. Then send them to the headhunter. If they don't follow up on what you sent them ad provide some feedback, then I'd be finding another one at that time. And burn the deadbeat headhunter's house down.

that's my .02

Companies HATE hiring through recruiters

Feb 26, 2020, 10:12 PM

Recruiters get 25-40% of your salary your first day. Way cheaper to find employees any other way.
