Don't sleep on fsu

Nov 9, 2017, 1:13 PM

Recently our defensive scheme has been allowing teams to make a ton of short passes up to 7 yards long. Fsu will follow suit and run with their 5 star rbs- especially along the outside. If defense can adjust and offense continues to do their thing, we'll be okay. But if our dbs are playing 8 yards off the line of scrimmage again (and again and again and again), it's going to be a mess. Even Blackman can make those wide open short throws.

Nc states qb opened the night 15/15 for a reason. Adjust, and we win.

Go Tigers.

FSU's QB isn't in the same league as Finley right now.

Like I said young but if given time he can sling the ball.
He has very good touch and a strong arm.

Agreed! Porous offensive line against our D. Those passes will have to be short and quick to succeed. Screens more likely.

We started the game with no secondary against NCST.

Nov 9, 2017, 1:26 PM

They also have the best OL in the ACC and we gave up quick throws. I think we play tighter against FSU, make him hold the ball for deeper routes since we can beat their OL nearly every play. Also, we'll be in DV. A false start will be a drive killer with their lack of O.

i hope you're right.. i feel that BV is afraid to bring pressure cause that's gonna leave our DB's on an island.. it's been obvious that our sack production has declined since our starting DB's have gone down to injury.

He'll obviously see more in film study than I've seen just

from watching FSU, but I think we were reluctant to force NCST because they had the ability to neutralize our rush/blitz and really expose our DBs. I don't see FSU protecting Blackmon long enough to make us pay for leaving our DBs on an island. I hope I'm right too haha.

Do they sell those at the Mattress warehouse in Seneca?

Nov 9, 2017, 2:14 PM

Located in the Old Wal-Mart building. In the same town as JOES. Where it is all about the SAWCE.
