Update on baseball coach

Still hearing that things are progressing with Lee.....however I don't really expect any kind of announcement today unless something happens late. I also feel safe in saying there will be no press conferences today, whether anything happens late or not.

And a radio station in cola said Monte Lee has accepted terms to be new head coach. I was surpirsed when I logged on tnet and didnt see it official by you. So much static I guess. I'm now just waiting to hear it from DRad.

They have to do a background check on the background checker who then checks Lee's background. You can just rely on O'Leary's word for this anymore.

Press conferences are held on Friday afternoons unless you are announcing something real good. That way any furor will abate before Monday. Heck, when an insurance company sends you a claim check you will, most likely , receive it on Friday because they know you won't cash it until Monday--that is if you remember to do so.
