person.......insufferable. And it's clear he can't/won't develop QB's.

come back to college football. And also don't forget that Michigan "belongs" among the elite and he is supposed to bring them back from the hinterlands.

On the other hand, Clemson is the real deal and the pundits an't seem to wrap their tiny brains around that fact.

Go Tigers!!

How do you keep Gamecocks out of your yard?
• Put up goal posts
What does a Gamecock grad call a Clemson Tiger grad in 2 years?

I hate Michigan more than anyone

but Harbaugh is mostly odd, socially awkward and at best kind stand offish.

Saban on the other hand, he's a jerk, and as insufferable as any coach ever.

He's getting a lot less love these days than he used to

I think when he initially got to Michigan he had earned a good bit of his reputation. He did a good job at San Diego and an amazing job at Stanford. He took over a 1-11 team in Palo Alto and went 12-1 in his last (4th) season. He's largely responsible for building that program into what it is today and David Shaw was an assistant that learned under Harbaugh at SD and Stanford before taking over. Harbaugh also pulled off what i believe is still the largest point spread upset in the history of CFB when Stanford beat Pete Carroll's 2007 USC team as a 41 point underdog. And then he very nearly won the Super Bowl with the 49ers before his relationship with ownership deteriorated there.

There were plenty of reasons to believe Harbaugh was a very good coach when he took over at Michigan. And his first couple of seasons reflected that. Michigan came pretty darn close to making the playoff in 2016. But that 2016 team kind of tailed off towards the end of the year and then last year's team wasn't great, struggling mightily on offense. He has definitely failed to recruit and/or develop QBs at Michigan - something he was known for at his previous stops. I think there are some serious questions about Harbaugh now and when you hear discussions about the top 5 coaches in CFB i never hear his name mentioned anymore like it was a couple years ago.
