post, but when I read the schedule it seemed so pathetic I had to take a closer look. Also, the next time a talking head tells you kids go to Alabama to play "Big Boy" football, be sure to slap them in the face.

The 2019 Alabama "Football" Schedule

Aug. 31: vs. Duke - the team that thrashed Temple (who apparently actually does play football) in their 2018 bowl to secure an impressive 8-5 record.

Sept. 7: vs. New Mexico State - a team that went 3-9 last year. ALTHOUGH, the previous year they went to their first bowl in 57 years with a 6-6 record and beat their opponent in overtime.

Sept. 14: at South Carolina – who got waxed by Virginia 28-0 in their 2018 bowl.

Sept. 21: vs. Southern Miss – who secured a healthy 6-5 season in 2018, after losing 42-13 in their 2017 bowl, the last in the “FSU Streak”

Sept. 28: vs. Ole Miss – who at 5-7 got as close as you can get to a winning record without going 6-6, and is still sanitizing the place from Hugh Freeze and his Ole Miss Young Miss escort escapades

Oct. 12: at Texas A&M – After a much needed bye week, mid October marks the official beginning of the Tide's football season with team that Clemson will have humbled and broken 6 weeks earlier.

Oct. 19: vs. Tennessee – the team that hopes to bounce back this year after being nationally shamed by Vanderbilt by more than three touchdowns in their 2018 season finale

Oct. 26: at Arkansas – We'll be pulling for The Chad alright, and pulling that he can get more than two wins like in 2018.

Nov. 9: vs. LSU – After a much needed 2nd bye week to recover from their grueling schedule, Alabama's season will be decided this week, or rather, whether or not they play in the SEC Championship game before they automatically secure a playoff spot.

Nov. 16: at Mississippi State – the team that lost to Iowa in the 2018 Outback Bowl

Nov. 23: vs. Western Carolina – I'm sure these are great kids with a lot of heart, but even at their level they only eked out 3 wins.

Nov. 30: at. Auburn – Auburn managed to finish 5 out of 7 in their division, secure a winning season, and even deny 6-6 Purdue a winning season by defeating them in the Music City Bowl.

So in summary, BAMA plays the victor of the Independence Bowl, the victor of the Music City Bowl, the loser of the Outback Bowl, the loser of the Belk Bowl, the two teams that played 7 overtimes to a 74-72 outcome, 3 teams that weren't even eligible for a bowl, and 3 teams that managed 3 or fewer wins. Welcome to Big Boy Football Mr. Recruit, where those marquee out-of-conference matchups the nation will be watching you in include Duke, New Mexico State, and Western Carolina.

Well, it is 12 games and two bye weeks so I suppose they'll be very tired by the time they get their well deserved playoff bid.

If Tua Turntheballova doesn’t play any 4th quarters again, will he still be exhausted and succumb to mental errors?

Great summary! I get really tickled sometimes at the accolades they get for being it that exceedingly tough league they claim to be in. Their conference strength is legendary (in their own minds and in the minds of their own TV network). "Big Boy Football"? Just a punchline.

Don't do my catamounts like that

we were almost in the playoff hunt a year ago until someone reminded us how bad we actually are with 3 games left.

Seriously we were ranked in the top 15 a year ago then samford and wofford killed all the hope and dreams
