Let's say we beat Pitt and Bama beats Georgia. Notre Dame doesn't have t play and Oklahoma beats Texas. You would assume the seedings would be
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Notre Dame
4. Oklahoma

Any Alabama fan would be telling a lie if they said they's just as soon play Oklahoma as Notre Dame.I'd rather play Notre Dame than Oklahoma. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they catered to Alabama and made the final seedings

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Oklahoma
4. Notre Dame


I hope we beat Pitt. I don't take anything for granted, but you just watch and see what kind of crazy switcharoo takes place.

Final Playoff polls released after CCG's
2014 TCU drops out after others won their CCG's
2015 Oklahoma drops a spot winning their conference but not having a CCG to play in.
2016 OSU drops a spot not playing in CCG
2017 Bama @ 5 before the CCG's moves up 2 spots when #2 & #4 lost their CCG's

If okla took over the number 3 spot, it wouldn’t be because the playoff Committee was ‘catering to bama”. It would be because the committee had seen every data point they could see, and felt okla was a better team than ND. OKla is playing a top 15 team this weekend while ND isn’t playing at all. They could easily make that switch if they thought Oklahoma’s resume improved after beating Texas. I honestly think okla is a better team than ND right now. It wouldn’t be some conspiracy if they switched.

The only reason OU is in this conversation is the lack of ball control by the WV qb. He cost himself in the pros by his turnovers.

What difference does it make who we play first? If
you skeered say you skeered. Beat Pitt first and then
you can quake,
