Gotta re-pipe the house we are buying. Polybutylene piping throughout, and grouchingtiger ain’t have that. What’s the joungey rec for Pex vs Copper?

Family ain’t out in MD yet, so no recs for plumber laying pipe to wifeofgrouching needed

1. You really shouldn't buy that house

2. PVC. I have copper. It's a ##### if I need to fix anything.

PVC is so much easier and readily available to run water out to my still.

Copper if you can afford it.

PEX if you want to save money.

Add a circulation pump/aqua-stat while you're doing it. If you get one with a timer, you can turn it on 10 minutes before you shower in the morning and have hot water ready and waiting.
