This may sound trivial and compared to most of these on here I guess it is. My son starts tryouts for baseball today and he has worked extremely hard. I really just ask for God to calm him and let him do what he has worked so hard to accomplish. Thanks!

I wish I had a dollar for every kid who didn't perform well because of trying too hard or being nervous. That gets more kids cut than anything else. I try to tell all of them to trust their skills and everything else will take care of itself. I will actually give that speech today at our tryouts. If you get the chance to talk to your son before hand or at least after the first day make sure to add that part. Hopefully your son crushes it today and gets his spot on the team!
