Week 11 Prodigal Football Ratings
Nov 10, 2014, 8:27 AM
|
|
Well, I said last week I was wanting to see if playing FCS teams knocked Ole Miss and Mississippi St. down. It did, sorta. Both of their ratings decreased, enough so that the Bulldogs lost the top spot, but not enough for Ole Miss to drop below Oregon. The gap is now much smaller between #3 and #4, and the teams #5-8. What is really needed to even things up is for the SEC West teams to lose games outside the SEC West. There are only a couple of opportunities for that left.
Rank | Pvs | Team | W-L | PDiff | SOS |
---|
1 | 3 | Alabama | 8-1 | 5 | 4 | 2 | 1 | Mississippi St. | 9-0 | 13 | 21 | 3 | 2 | Auburn | 7-2 | 14 | 1 | 4 | 4 | Ole Miss | 8-2 | 8 | 3 | 5 | 6 | Oregon | 9-1 | 10 | 28 | 6 | 8 | Ohio St. | 8-1 | 3 | 42 | 6 | 5 | Florida St. | 9-0 | 17 | 55 | 8 | 9 | TCU | 8-1 | 4 | 40 | 9 | 14 | UCLA | 8-2 | 37 | 6 | 10 | 17 | Arizona St. | 8-1 | 30 | 30 | 11 | 18 | Baylor | 8-1 | 2 | 80 | 12 | 16 | Marshall | 9-0 | 1 | 121 | 13 | 15 | Nebraska | 8-1 | 12 | 74 | 14 | 19 | Georgia | 7-2 | 6 | 37 | 15 | 7 | Notre Dame | 7-2 | 26 | 12 | 16 | 11 | Oklahoma | 6-3 | 15 | 7 | 17 | 10 | Kansas St. | 7-2 | 20 | 32 | 18 | 12 | LSU | 7-3 | 21 | 8 | 19 | 13 | Michigan St. | 7-2 | 11 | 50 | 20 | 20 | Boise St. | 7-2 | 33 | 27 | 21 | 22 | Arizona | 7-2 | 24 | 41 | 22 | 21 | Wake Forest | 7-2 | 23 | 45 | 23 | 25 | Duke | 8-1 | 16 | 92 | 24 | 24 | Wisconsin | 7-2 | 7 | 72 | 25 | 27 | Georgia Tech | 8-2 | 25 | 59 |
Dropped out: #23 Colorado St.
Other ACC/SEC teams:

They lost at home to an unranked TAMU team.
A TAMU team that isn't even ranked in your whacky poll. DESPITE being in the SEC West.
