I live in Jacksonville. Good school. Safe area. Near beach.

Took my daughter up there to tour last spring...It just wasn't the place for her, but it's a pretty neat campus in that there are shuttles to downtown Jax, and the beach, but it feels secluded in the midst of a pine forest. The dorms were stinky though. I mean they literally stunk.

She ended up at FSU as a student athlete. I'm still second guessing myself, but the extra $24k a year it was going to cost me to send her to Clemson from down here was more than I could justify.

I live in Jacksonville as well, UNF is a really good school, but in all honesty I hate Jacksonville.

Clemson is a much better school but UNF is closer to a larger city and the beach.

I don't know much about UNF otherwise. Yhe fact that UNF doesn't have much clout might not matter much in the long run. A lot of it depends on what she wants to major in, tuition costs, scholarships, distance from family and friends, etc.
