It saddens me with Mark Levin

Guy has typically stuck to his guns on being a constitutionalist conservative. However, listening to his radio program the other night it is obvious he's trying to make more of a national name for himself by going against his beliefs.
Instead of calling out the national emergency for what it is, a run around Article 1, he does a "what about" segment calling the offices under the executive branch unconstitutional.
Disappoint.

I think some Republicans think taking principled conservative stances puts them at a disadvantage, because liberals don't really care about procedure. They've started to believe that they, too, should not care as much about procedure because they don't want to get taken advantage of. Of course, not doing that while still talking about it when out of power is the definition of unprincipled opportunism.

I mean you have a media that is reaching for any kind of story, even giving air time to a confessed liar and you have minorities fabricating stories in order to be oppressed.

Neither side ever thinks they are actively making things worse. They only see their actions as a reaction to the other side's inappropriate behavior and they don't want to be taken advantage of so they feel the need to be more aggressive with their own inappropriate behavior. It's absurd in its infantile idiocy. But that's politics I guess...

I'm not sure why so many seem to need more. Don't start pointless wars, and keep me from being blown up. I pay a lot of money every year to make sure that happens.

I do think it's true that liberals don't care as much about proceduralism, though. There are obviously plenty of people on both sides who cheer on breaking the rules because it means their side is finally "getting tough," or something.

I got the impression that he is highly intelligent and knows his stuff. It seems like conservative commentators have to make the call between defending the GOP leader and defending conservative or constitutional principles. It appears defending the President gets more people tuning in.

Dude, if you think Levin is bad, listen to Mike Gallagher. Holy #### what a moron. Hannity is smug, Levin is the angry one, Gallagher is the gasping pretentious one.
