Adidas and Nike could legally and above board, just like they do with NBA guys, complete for the services of the 5 star hoops guy. Sign with my school (Adids or Nike or whatever) and I'll give you a shoe contract worth $-----------.

It will all be legal. Maybe not right away, but that is the direction we are heading. And, the schools will love it. The kid gets paid and they don't have to pay him.

Does the current NCAA rule dictate who can and who cannot pay for the likeness? If Bubba Booster offers $100,000 for a highly regarded recruit’s likeness on the booster’s school’s jersey, providing of course he attends the boosters school, will this be legal? If not why not?

do you have to give a refund, or buy it back? Answers to these questions better be hammered out before this thing goes into effect. If it was in effect this season, for instance, there would be a whole bunch of Coots in Cootlumbia demanding refunds for those expensive signed Jake Bentley All SEC QB pictures.
