Yes, I think we'll be able to run the ball on Bama. This will be the best offense they have faced.

I think we will find out I think you have to spread them out some because they will be keying on our early run. Make no doubt running on them will be a tough task. Coming out throwing out of the 4 and 5 wr sets will open up the running lanes for Watson. They will key on Watson's running out of the 5wr set because rarely have we thrown from it. These are the little tendencies that we can change to open up the big plays. Just my thoughts.

We will switch it up just like we did against oklahoma

Nope, statistically speaking, that would be Ole Miss.

Interestingly enough, Clemson will be the best D Alabama has

faced.

I'm pretty sure we all know what you are.

Jan 4, 2016, 9:18 AM

Incorrect, statisically speaking that would be Wisconsin.

Do you people even stat?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Do we not count efficiency?***

Jan 4, 2016, 9:21 AM

You'll go far here.

It must be nice going to Christmas when your parents and the in-laws are one and the same.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! You guys are better than this. We dealt with all the southern bashing versus the MSU boards, and they were Yankees.

Let's just discuss football and not how narrow family trees are.

Stats, eh... I thought those didn't count last year... #1.

Jan 4, 2016, 9:23 AM [ in reply to Re: Interestingly enough, Clemson will be the best D Alabama has ]

Clemson will be the best D that Bama has faced THIS year, stats or whatever... You'll see.

Likewise, Bama will be the best D Clemson has faced.

Jan 4, 2016, 10:29 AM

That's about the only true thing you've said so far.

S&P top 50:
Alabama #1, Boston College #3, Fl State #10, Oklahoma #16, Louisville #23, Notre Dame #35, App State #43, NC State #45 (Clemson #4)
http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ncaadef

FEI top 50:
Alabama #2, Oklahoma #3, Boston College #5, Fl State #26, App State #34, Louisville #40 (Clemson #7)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

according to your own logic

Jan 5, 2016, 1:02 PM [ in reply to Re: Stats, eh... I thought those didn't count last year... #1. ]

BC would be the best defense we played this year. Do you even statistics?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

True, statistically, but taken in total...

Jan 4, 2016, 9:25 AM [ in reply to Re: Interestingly enough, Clemson will be the best D Alabama has ]

Clemson #11 ranked defense is ranked below #10 Ole Miss, but Ole Miss has the #54 ranked defense to our #6.

Wisconsin's #3 ranked defense is ahead of our #6 ranked defense, but our #11 ranked offense won't be confused with Wisconsin's #79 ranked offense.

null

Jan 4, 2016, 9:27 AM

Now here's a man that stats! Good job.

Jan 4, 2016, 10:22 AM [ in reply to True, statistically, but taken in total... ]

Don't just look at total defense...see below. Those are better adjusted numbers.

yes, obviously, you don't:

S&P:

Clemson #4, Wisconsin #7...

FEI:
http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/feidef

Clemson #7, Wisconsin #11

Not really. OM had less than 100 yards rushing against Bama.

Re: Does clemson have the scheme to run

Jan 4, 2016, 10:37 AM

Ol Miss also doesn't have a RB in the top 100, along with a QB in the top 100

http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/rushing/sort/rushingYards:

#15: Wayne Gallman
T-#58 - Deshaun Watson

Jaylon Walton is ranked #117, Chad Kelly is #194, btw.

QBR:
http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/collegeQuarterbackRating
Deshaun Watson #13, Chad Kelly #14
