Does anyone think FSU gets one of its wants and the ACC

switches to North/South Divisions in Football? FSU is right and I sure hope they get their way on this one. You will still get a good sample of the opposite division in a 9 game setup. The ACC creating better rivalry games in the North/South setup would be a bit of fresh air compared to all the rivalry games that have been taken away in recent realigment in other conferences.

If Us, FSU, Miami and GT are in the south, 3 of the 4 NC schools have to be also. And BTW, the north will blow big time

I know they're going through a rough period now, but I have to believe that eventually they will be back. They still recruit well. They will be fine.

Don't care much for playing them every year myself, but if you went north/south, I would feel that would probably be necessary to balance out the divisions.

I'm not sure why FSU would want a North-South division split. The South would be much stronger in football, so it would be harder for FSU to make the championship game.
If the ACC had added WVU and Louisville instead of Syracuse and Pitt a North-South split might have been pretty good.
